NO MATTER YOUR ROLE, LEAD, WHERE YOU ARE
The word Lead or leading is an action word that means to hold someone by the hand. According to the dictionary leading means guidance.
So, when we say you can Lead where you are, we are simply saying that you have been adorned with all the necessary ability to reach the peak or achieve things beyond your immediate environment. No matter where we find ourselves, we have the capacity to touch lives or make a change.
Many are times when the word leadership is mentioned, it is usually presumed to be associated with people who are at the top management or supervisory level in the organization. There is a chain connection of the body or building that makes it stand.
However, this is totally misconstrued, the role of leadership is one which everyone is doing consciously or unconsciously. Everyone individual possess the quality, irrespective of what role you have to play within an organization. The level of responsibility and commitment we show when assigned any task, shows in so doing; they contribute the overall goal of the organization.
Hence standing up to your role and responsibility enables you to meet deadlines and achieve visible results. Seeing yourself as a leader will not only help you think as a leader, but will in turn increase the quality of your output.
Moreover, no matter how little you think your roles are, it sums up to the big picture of the organization.
